Singing Stones

Singing Stones is an independent and grass roots deep listening project and event series I founded and curate in Sydney, exploring the intersection of experimental music, immersive art and human connection. Bringing together artists working across sound, light, movement and installation, the project creates intimate listening environments for practices that often sit outside conventional performance spaces.

Through live events and a radio show on 2SER, Singing Stones is a launch pad for emerging artists and encourages adventurous approaches to experiencing, and explores how sound can transform our perception of space, time and being. Sitting at the heart of it is a belief in the importance of shared cultural spaces. Places where we can step away from the noise of everyday life, take in art at our own pace and bond through being physically present together somewhere. Singing Stones is an ongoing extension of my practice of facilitator, bringing a vision out of my creative directing, and breathe life into it as a collective, embodied journey through live performance, immersive sound, light, sculpture and movement.
